Autumn Unwind - Sunday 9th Nov 2.45 - 6pm Westbury Wildlife Park & Fire & Ice Wellness As nature invites us to slow down—but work, kids, and life keep going at speed—this is your invitation to step away, ease the pace, and tend to you. By slowing down gradually we can work intelligently with our tired-wired nervous system, we can learn to move towards rest with a little more ease. One afternoon (probably) won't change the world, but it will give you.... - Ideas to support your busy mind-body to settle towards rest using props and movement to slow down and feel grounded - A restful, calming reset for your whole being - Moments of spacious mindfulness to help you feel present day to day - Fresh, empowering perspectives of rest (spoiler : we do not need to earn rest!) - A relaxing afternoon with other women who value true self-care too SCHEDULE >2.45pm: Meet by the gates to the park and begin to slow down, taking a mindful stroll together to Fire & Ice > 3-4pm: Enjoy Fire and Ice Wellness for hot/cold immersion therapy with sauna and wild dip - said to improve mood, reduce stress, and increase blood flow, and its a beautiful and peaceful nature spot too. Sauna warmth will help relax and unwind muscle tension and slow us down to prepare for restorative yoga. > 4-6pm: settle into the River Room studio for a spacious, grounding 90-minute Restorative Yoga practice. Meet your rhythm as you need, unwinding movement will guide us towards stillness - using bolsters, blankets and soft supports we invite a sense of nervous system safety, an easeful breath, and embodied rest and relaxation > We will close our practice with a Yoga Nidra. This is a form of meditation, done laying down with comfy supports, working with the natural intelligence of our body-mind to induce a deep state of calm, relaxation and rest. > Honest, useful chats about rest (the challenges and benefits), tea and tasty vegan treats will look after you inside and out too Just like the shift in seasons take time, nothing will be rushed here - how refreshing Spaces limited to 7 - no experience needed - no obligation to dip if cold water is not for you on the day
