GLOW - A Woodland Retreat to Rest & Restore

Retreat with Carolyn and Sally Davis www.leapmindfulness.com within the tranquillity of ancient conservation woodland in Wiltshire (near Salisbury) for a weekend of gentle yet energizing yoga, mindfulness, journey meditations, reflections and healing work. Connect to your inner glow, your true sense of self, through compassionate and connection practices, setting intentions to create purpose for your Autumn ahead.

The Weekend

Pause. Meet yourself where you are and explore intentions through movement and mind, with practices accessible for all. Experience daily yoga, intuitive movement in morning practice and restful, restorative evening practice, plus guided meditations, creative mindfulness, self-awareness work, long mindful woodland walks, ceremony, ritual, relaxation and more. 

 

Each night will connect us to the elements as we connect to to the woodland around the fire and share stories, tea and biscuits. Group evening sessions might include guided meditation, intention setting, music, quiet time or any spontaneity that the flames inspire.

The Venue

If you have a love for the great outdoors, connecting to nature to feel closer to you, then you will love the magic of this eco retreat centre. Completely off-grid,  only a couple of hours drive from Bristol, London and Brighton, and close to the New Forest, this unique venue is nestled within magical 70 acres of private ancient woodland.

 

Beautifully crafted large timber buildings, home comforts with rustic charm, indoor and outdoor composting loos (please note if you are after high end luxury this is not for you), indoor practice space,  simple clean twin or private rooms, acres of woods, cosy nooks and wood burning stoves await you.

Mornings

Yoga will gently wake us up, we'll head outside for practice if the weather feels inviting. Move beyond the confines of alignment to explore intentions and themes connecting us to the season, personal power and intuition. Essentially, moving and exploring with an open mind and open heart. Practice will be accessible for all, supporting you to notice and listen to sensations within the body for an embodied awareness of the present moment, and of yourself.

Brunch & Free time

 

Afternoons

Through guided meditation we will work intuitively to tune in to ourselves and the energy that surrounds us. You'll experience guided journeying meditations, creative mindfulness activities, empowering self-awareness, ritual and releasing work within the woodlands. All guiding the way for you to be your most radiant self.

Tea & snacks & free time

 

Evenings

Yoga will be slow, grounding and nurturing, sinking deep into slow motion and stillness, soothing every part of you with blankets, essential oils and eyebags to support deep conscious rest.

Dinner

Come together around the fire for seated meditation and connect with the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water– bring a blanket and watch the flames as we connect and slow down time before bed.

This accommodation is spread over two separate buildings, each with shared bathroom facilities. All loos are composting, both indoor and outdoor.

Please note, as a requirement from the venue, you will need to bring your own bedding and sheets for a Covid-safe stay.

Your own yoga mat and blanket for practise is also needed.
