In modern life, slowing down can feel impossible. Even in winter, our world rarely rests — leaving many women feeling depleted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their inner calm.

February offers a natural pause. A gentle moment in the year to soften, breathe deeply, and welcome true restoration.

The Nurture Retreat invites you to experience deep rest for your nervous system, emotional balance, and inner clarity.


Over three peaceful days, you’ll be guided through restorative yoga, meditation, breathwork, and nourishing practices that soothe your body, quiet the mind, and reconnect you with your heart.

• Disconnected from yourself and craving space
• Ready to prioritise rest and true self-care again

Held by meditation coach Sally Davis and yoga teacher Carolyn Thompson, this women-only winter retreat blends gentle movement, mindful rest and supportive guidance, with nourishing organic meals and peaceful nature — helping you return home feeling centred, replenished, and deeply cared for.

This is about presence, not performance, returning to intuition, over autopilot.

Your Nurturing Practices

Everything is an invitation, this is YOUR Nurture Retreat.

You could explore grounding, restorative Yoga practices, where we soften our edges, let go of fixed alignment ideas, slow it down. Tend to tired-wired nervous systems, be with each breath, embodied, resting into the now.

 

You could dive into Mindfulness and Meditations with Sally Davis www.leapindfulness.com, exploring visualisations, silence and energy work.  Her aim is to support you to a true sense of knowing, deeply connected to your intuition.

Taking what you need, any time, is always a strong choice too.

Your Nurturing Space

 

Bonhays offers you a sanctuary of welcome, peace and simplicity: a beautiful, secluded Meditation and Retreat Center, nestled in the hills of West Dorset, between Bridport and Lyme Regis and just two miles from the sea.

Set around a central courtyard, with the soft curves of the straw buildings and the hills beyond, there is quiet and stillness here.

 

The centre provides great communal spaces as well as many peaceful and secluded spots for quiet and reflection.

Your Nourishing Meals

 

Breakfast will be a self serve buffet and our private chef Evie will create delicious, nourishing meals for us to share together in the conservatory dining room.

 

All meals will be Vegetarian and seasonal, with an emphasis on nutritious, plant based, and nurturing food.

 

Vegan, Gluten Free, and other dietary requests can be catered. Just let us know on booking.
