This is a yoga class to offer mind-body care and community for all new mothers navigating the wild ride of the first 12 months. Join us, with your baby, at St Werburgh's Community Centre on Tuesday mornings for inclusive yoga, calming mindfulness and friendly community. Post-partum from 8 weeks, and all non-birthing mums welcome. Whether you're new to yoga or more experienced, you'll be guided to start from exactly how you feel today—exhausted, confused, joyful, a complete mess... It's all welcome here. Each week begins with optional sharing circle (just listening is a strength too) to offload, and normalise, before being guided through inclusive yoga asana/postures, movement and calming pranayama/breathwork. Each week, a useful intention rooted in yoga philosophy will support you to bring depth and heart to your practice such as 'Embodied through change', 'Grounded in the Chaos', or 'Courage to be' . Nurturing your inner strengths can support you day to day too. This is a supportive space where new mum life—the challenges, joys, mess and confusion—is acknowledged and normalised. You can feed or change baby anytime. Crawling babes are very welcome too. Leave feeling refreshed, grounded, seen and heard. What Each Class Offers: Connection with other new mums in your community An inclusive approach with options to match your energy, with your healing and evolving needs in mind Calming breathwork (pranayama) tools that can support you day to day too Grounding mindful moments to feel present through big changes Rest and relaxation meditations to tend to tired energy A friendly, adaptable class where you are the focus (no nursery rhymes here ;) No previous experience needed. Up to 8 per class for focused guidance and connection.
