Retreat to the woods, reconnect to you.

GLOW - A Self Connection Retreat
Thurs 2nd
 - Sun 5th Sept 2021
Wiltshire

Join me and Sally Davis www.leapmindfulness.com,  in a charming eco-retreat centre in conservation woodland in Wiltshire (near Salisbury)  for a weekend of nourishing self-connection.

Through foundational flow, intuitive movement and restorative yoga, as well as insightful visualisation meditations, mindfulness, healing work and ritual, this long weekend is for you to connect to your inner glow. To (re)connect to your true sense of Self, within the abundant spaciousness of within the woods.

With so much space and time to connect we can allow ourselves to process and lean into feelings. Feelings and whisperings from the heart that can easily let lost within the noise of life. Release, listen in and set intentions to create vision for the Autumn ahead.

The Weekend

Experience daily (accessible, foundational yoga shapes and movement) yoga, morning and early evening before our evening meal will bring us together to connect body, mind and breath. During the day Sally will share guided meditations, creative mindfulness and self-awareness work, leaving space and time for you to be you, explore the woodland, relax and rest.

Each night will connect us to the elements as we connect to to the woodland around the fire to share stories (tea and biscuits likely). Group evening practices might include guided meditation, intention setting, music, ceremony, quiet time or any spontaneity that the flames inspire. Plans are loose and we will be guided by the needs of the group.

The Venue

Completely off-grid,  only a couple of hours drive from Bristol, London or Brighton, and close to the New Forest, this unique eco-venue is nestled within magical 70 acres of private ancient woodland. Magic.

Beautifully crafted large timber buildings, home comforts with rustic charm, indoor and outdoor composting loos (please note if you are after high end luxury this is not for you), indoor practice space,  simple clean twin or private rooms, acres of woods, cosy nooks and wood burning stoves await you.

What they say...

I would like to say how much I have loved this weekend retreat. My first ever and it has been so lovely to meet yourselves and so many wonderful ladies. Everyone seemed so delightful in their own special way. I wasn't expecting to meet new friends but I feel I have. I loved the yoga practices, I appreciated the opportunities to find my own pace and variations.

I leave feeling energized. The creative mindfulness and journeying meditations were incredibly relaxing and insightful. The venue and food were perfect too. Thank you again for everything, I would recommend your retreats to anyone.

Rough Schedule

Mornings

Yoga will gently wake us up, we'll head outside for practice if the weather feels inviting. Move beyond the confines of alignment to explore intentions and themes connecting us to the season and heart led intuition. Essentially, moving and exploring with yoga asana (postures) as a starting point and a guide to flow from. Practice will be accessible for all, supporting you to notice and listen to sensations within the body for an embodied awareness of the present moment, and of yourself.

Brunch & Free time

Afternoons

Through guided meditation we will work intuitively to tune in to ourselves and the energy that surrounds us. You'll experience guided journeying meditations, creative mindfulness activities, empowering self-awareness, ritual and releasing work within the woodlands. All guiding the way for you to be your most radiant self.

Tea & snacks & free time

Evenings

Yoga will be slow, grounding and nurturing, sinking deep into slow motion and stillness, soothing every part of you with blankets, essential oils and eyebags to support deep conscious rest in Yoga Nidra (meditation).

Dinner

Share a delicious evening meal cooked by our own chef and enjoyed around the large dining table, or outside if weather allows.

Gather together around the fire for seated meditation and connect with the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water– bring a blanket and watch the flames as we connect and slow down time before bed.
