The Nest is a way to begin your week with steadiness and softness — a weekly, kind ‘hello’ to yourself, held by community. It’s a Monday evening online hang-out. Supportive and practical, for women who are ready to reclaim rest, honour their energy, and put themselves back on the list. Explore guided restorative yoga, pranayama (breath), and relaxation meditations, and with consistent support, nurture a steadiness and gentle resilience for the ebb, flow and messiness of real life. It's hard to thrive in a state of depletion. Rest and mind-body awareness come first, then the ripple effect of this nervous system care can follow - for you and your loved ones. RETURN TO THE NEST A brief intro to the practice and our shared intention - seasonal or embodied A guided mindfulness check-in, saying hello to body, mind, energy, and heart A guided restorative practice, in movement, breath or stillness, with options for you to take what feels good for you Optional guided journaling to reflect on the practice and get intentional about cultivating your home practice through the week ahead WHO IS THIS FOR? The Nest supports women who are giving a lot - perhaps in work (paid or unpaid), caring for young or old, whilst navigating inner energy cycles and seasons of life, carrying the mental load - and who are seeking steadiness, ease, and a more sustainable rhythm. Maybe you find it hard to rest, or you feel you can only pause once everything is done (which it never will be). You feel stuck knowing where to start with restorative practices, and so you never do. You crave support, community, and authentic nervous system care. Your early evenings can be interrupted by work or children’s bedtimes, so 8–9pm is the ideal quieter window to unwind and gently set the tone towards sleep, and the week ahead. Gather in The Nest and make space to return to yourself - consistently, quietly, and with intention, together. PJ’s very welcome (encouraged). Camera can be on or off. Your housemates, partners, teens are all very welcome to join us.
