Give yourself permission to truly slow down into rest, in a world with no pause button. Afternoon retreats at Fire & Ice Wellness, Westbury Wildlife Park 2.30-6.30pm - 08.03 / 10.05 / 07.06 / 12.07 Step away from the rush, routines, autopilot, and remember what it feels like when your nervous system settles, your mind finds moments of stillness, and your whole body finally feels present and rested. This is an afternoon designed for deep restoration. Find ease in your breath with Fascia Flow Yoga and pranayama (breath expansion). Breath awareness will be the perfect preparation before enjoying an hour at Fire and Ice, Bristol's beautiful sauna garden with wild pool for cold dips. We will close the afternoon in the River Room studio with chats over tea and cake, before getting cosy with all the props for an extended Savasana and Yoga Nidra for deep embodied rest and relaxation. All held in a small gathering of women who are choosing to show up for themselves, and each other (and everyone else in their life). WHY THESE PRACTICES MATTER NOW You already know you're body-mind is craving more rest. These afternoons will support - Your body's natural rhythms and need to reconnect and slow down, through your different cycle and seasons of life - Finding presence and patience when life feels demanding, for you and your loved ones - Real connection with other women, in nature, offline and unhurried - Gentle resilience that comes from listening to your body - pausing, regulating, not just pushing through YOUR SPACIOUS AFTERNOON INCLUDES 2:30-4pm: Mindful Fascia Flow & Breath (Pranayama) Transition from your day with guided breath practices to ground your mind and ease into the present moment. Inclusive with options, for you to find your flow, in a way that meets you as you are. 4-5pm: Sauna & Wild Dip at Fire and Ice Wood-burning sauna and natural cold plunge pool in a peaceful nature garden. There's nothing to prove here—your choice to dip or not is equally nurtured. 5-6:30pm: Tea, Treats, Savasana & Yoga Nidra Chats, homemade treats and hot teas in the studio, followed by a big old lay down and a guided yoga nidra deep rest meditation for every part of you. PRACTICAL BITS Only 7 spaces available for each afternoon retreat Those new to yoga, or more familiar all welcome Group changing room with hot and cold outdoor showers Private sauna for our group (shared site with other visitors) Cold water dipping is entirely optional—listen to your body on the day
